2 killed, 3 injured in car overturn in Myanmar's Yangon

YANGON, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and three others injured in an 18-wheeled truck overturn in Dagon Seikkan township in Myanmar's Yangon region at early hour on Friday, an official from Myanmar Fire Service Department told Xinhua.

With eight people aboard, an 18-wheeled truck heading from Dagon Seikkan to Thaketa lost brake control and crashed into the nearby tree at 00:10 a.m. local time, according to the official.

The injured were brought to the Yangon General Hospital.

The reckless driving was blamed for the accident.
