SARAJEVO, May 14 (Xinhua) -- "We want to maintain a humane attitude towards migrants and we will continue to act in accordance with Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) and international laws," Chairman of BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic said at a press conference here Monday.

At a state level working-consultative meeting on migrant's crisis, Zvizdic revealed that the number of migrants entering BiH increased from 60 to 100 daily since the beginning of May.

Zvizdic said that there is an urgent need to find an adequate accommodation for migrants, pointing out that they should be treated in a humane manner.

"Those migrants who are living outdoors, we will accommodate in humane way, offer them health care and all other forms of accommodation," Zvizdic said.

For her part, minister for human rights and refugees Semiha Borovac stated that she will suggest at the Council of Ministers meeting Tuesday to open the refugee center Salakovac near the city of Mostar, some 130 kilometres southwest from the capital.

She added that the center is ready to accept 296 asylum seekers, mainly families with children.

Security minister Dragan Mektic stressed that BiH authorities stick to all laws and conventions on how to accept and act with migrants, and that they will continue to offer support.

"We will continue to fulfil absolutely every human requirement for those people, provide accommodation, food, healthcare, but we have to manage the process," Mektic said.
