Warriors coach Kerr says guard Thompson will play in Game 5 against Rockets

WASHINGTON, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said guard Klay Thompson will play in West Finals Game 5 against the Houston Rockets on Thursday.

But forward Andre Iguodala is a game-time decision, added the coach.

Thompson strained his left knee in the second quarter of Game 4 on Tuesday, but he played through it after receiving treatment in the locker room. Iguodala missed Game 4 after suffering a left leg contusion when he banged knees with Rockets guard James Harden in the fourth quarter of Game 3 on Sunday. He was listed as questionable on Wednesday.

Both participated in shootaround Thursday morning.

The series are tied at two games apiece. Game 5 is set to take place at Houston.
