SINGAPORE, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.15 percent or 5.27 point to close at 3,473.08.
A total of 1.69 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.17 billion Singapore dollars (about 860.1 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 201 to 188.
The STI index closed down 0.44 percent or 15.35 points to close at 3,467.81 Wednesday. Enditem
