France tie Argentina 1-1 at halftime in World Cup round of 16 match

KAZAN, June 30 (Xinhua) -- France were held to a 1-1 draw by Argentina in the first half in their round of 16 match at the Russia World Cup on Saturday.

Antoine Griezmann scored from the penalty spot in the 13th minute to give France a 1-0 lead after rising star Kylian Mbappe was fouled in the box by Argentina fullback Marcos Rojo.
