6.9-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia's Lombok island: CENC

BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- A 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's Lombok island at 10:56 p.m. Sunday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 8.5 degrees south latitude and 116.65 degrees west longitude.
