Former Party chief of Shaanxi Province under investigation

BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Zhao Zhengyong, former Party chief of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, is being investigated for suspected serious violations of Party disciplinary rules and laws, according to the country's top anti-graft body Tuesday.

Zhao is being investigated by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
