DUBAI, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- China has achieved a major economic and technological leap due to its encouragement for digital economy and creation of new consumption pattern, state-run news agency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) WAM said in a report Tuesday.
The analytic report explores the secret behind China's great economic and technological development, attributing the success to several factors, including boost of digital economy, new consumption patterns and scientific training system.
China is offering many incentives for the private sector institutions to bolster the digital economy, which would both develop the existing technology companies and discover newly-emerging ones, it said.
The World Government Summit is held in Dubai from Feb. 10-12, during which China's major achievements in economic and technological fields were among the key topics discussed, the report added.
