LONDON, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- The battle to avoid relegation is very much on the agenda in the four Premier League games to be played on Tuesday night.

While league leaders Liverpool, second place Manchester City, third place Tottenham, as well as Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea all play on Wednesday - with a fascinating game at Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and Spurs - Tuesday will be all about the battle to avoid the drop to the Championship at the end of the campaign.

Cardiff City, who are fourth from bottom of the table, entertain Everton, who have lost four out of their last five league games, as well as suffering an FA Cup defeat away to Millwall in recent weeks to keep the pressure on coach Marco Silva.

Bottom of the table Huddersfield have taken just one point from a possible 42, with 13 defeats and just one draw to show from their last 14 matches and will do well to improve on that when Wolves visit The John Smiths Stadium.

Leicester City sacked coach Claude Puel on Sunday after a run of five defeats and a draw from their last six matches. First team coach Mike Stowell will be in charge for the visit of Brighton and he told the press on Monday he has "challenged" the players to show how good they are.

Brighton coach Chris Houghton also spoke to the press and commented that he was "disappointed, but not surprised" Puel had lost his job.

After a run of just one win in 11 matches has left his side very much in the battle to avoid relegation, Houghton is probably also aware that Brighton's recent form has probably also put his future in jeopardy.

Finally, Newcastle United entertain Burnley, with both sides on a high after weekend wins: Burnley fought back from a goal down to beat Tottenham 2-1 and move six points clear of the relegation zone, while Newcastle took advantage of 10-man Huddersfield to claim a 2-0 win and move four points clear of danger.

Both sides must go into the game believing that another three-point haul will almost end their relegation fears for this season.
