NAIROBI, March 9 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Saturday.

-- Detectives investigating the multi-billion-shilling dams' scandal have trained their eyes on properties that may have been acquired from the proceeds of the 21 billion shilling fraud.

Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji last evening revealed that preliminary investigations had established that a large number of government officials are involved in the scandal. (Daily Nation)

-- The one-year handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his once sworn political enemy Raila Odinga has altered the political course of the two leaders. Both have made a compromise and presented united fronts, at least publicly, on things that seem to be of concern to Kenyans. (Standard)

-- President Uhuru Kenyatta's legacy projects are not attainable, Parliament has concluded. The verdict is likely to leave his economic advisers racking their brains for answers.

The president hopes to rollout four key programmes- universal healthcare, affordable housing, manufacturing and food security. (Star) Enditem
