People in China's Xiongan joining in building high-profile city from scratch

At 9:30 am, 59-year-old Duan Baoli, a railway staff member of Baiyangdian Railway Station, stands at the platform in Xiongan New Area, north China's Hebei Province, April 1, 2019. Duan, who has been working at the Baiyangdian Railway Station since its opening, will retire next year. Known as the China's "city of the future", Xiongan is to transform from being a blueprint to a tangible reality starting this year.
