China grants 5G licenses to 4 companies

BEIJING, June 6 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Thursday granted 5G licenses for commercial use.

China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Broadcasting Network are the first batch of companies that obtained the 5G licenses.
