Aerial photo taken on May 23, 2019 shows kelp being dried at Dongcun Village of Daqindao Township in Changdao County, east China's Shandong Province. Located on the east coast of China, Shandong is in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. It boasts so many nation-renowned scenic spots including the Yellow River Delta national nature reserve, the Penglai water fortress, Taishan Mountain and Laoshan Mountain. During the past years, local authorities in Shandong Province have been following the guiding principle of green development and paving the way forward in the construction of an ecological civilization. From June 20 to 22, the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition ushers in "Shandong Day" event, which presents the diversified cultures and ecological development in Shandong to tourists.
