SKOPJE, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Business confidence indicator in North Macedonia in manufacturing industry increased by 1.5 percent in June 2019 compared to the same period last year, the country's Statistical Office (SSO) said on Tuesday.
According to the SSO report, business managers in manufacturing industry in North Macedonia assessed that business confidence in June 2019 stood at 21.3, 0.3 percent higher compared to the previous month and 1.5 percent higher year-on-year.
According to the SSO, the estimation of the country's economic situation in June is more satisfactory compared with May, as well as the same period last year.
In this period the average capacity utilization level of the business entities increased to 69.9 percent of normal utilization.
The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in June 2019, according to the SSO, were the shortage of skilled labor, insufficient foreign demand, insufficient domestic demand and uncertainty of the economic environment.
