Zhang Hua makes a feather patchwork at her studio in Shiping County, Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Honghe, southwest China's Yunnan Province, Aug. 7, 2019. Born in Longpeng Township of Shiping County, Zhang Hua, of Yi ethnic group, is interested in Yi embroidery from a very young age and has begun to learn feather patchwork making since 2009. In 2016, Zhang Hua founded a studio to help local women learn embroidery and feather art for free. Then with the support of the local government, she organized a cooperative specializing feather art to boost locals' income and local economy. (Xinhua/Jiang Wenyao)
