UN envoys from 8 countries visit Xinjiang

Members of the UN envoys delegation visit a photo exhibition at the Xinjiang International Convention & Exhibition Center in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Aug. 29, 2019. A delegation of UN envoys from eight countries has visited northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to gain a better understanding of the region's achievements from de-radicalization to poverty eradication. The five-day tour brought them to the regional capital Urumqi, and Hotan and Kashgar in southern Xinjiang, where they visited factories, bazaars, communities, mosques and vocational training centers.
