Beekeeper in China's Hunan benefits from targeted poverty alleviation project

Bee keeper Long Xianlan gets the worm out of a beehive at a nectar source in Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Miao and Tujia Autonomous Prefecture, central China's Hunan Province, Sept. 4, 2019. Benefiting from the targeted poverty alleviation project, Long Xianlan, 32, has learned the skills of beekeeping and developed the apiculture based on the given resources and local conditions there. He has founded his own beekeeping company and registered trademark for his honey product. Long's business has helped 118 bee keepers from his village and surrounding villages get out of poverty.
