Photo exhibition held to mark 80th anniv. of China Welfare Institute Nursery in Shanghai

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the CWI, founded by Soong Ching Ling in 1938. The Shanghai-based organization focuses on maternal and child health, education and social welfare. Soong Ching Ling, born in Shanghai in 1893, was the wife of Chinese revolutionary Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who led the 1911 Revolution. (Xinhua/CWI)
