Photo exhibition held to mark 80th anniv. of China Welfare Institute Nursery in Shanghai

File photo taken in Nov. 1951 shows Soong Ching Ling looking after children at a nursery of the China Welfare Institute (CWI) in Shanghai, east China. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the CWI, founded by Soong Ching Ling in 1938. The Shanghai-based organization focuses on maternal and child health, education and social welfare. Soong Ching Ling, born in Shanghai in 1893, was the wife of Chinese revolutionary Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who led the 1911 Revolution. (Xinhua/CWI)
