China's achievements in sports during last 70 years

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC). On April 5, 1959, Rong Guotuan won the champion of the men's singles event at the 25th ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in Dortmund, Germany, becoming China's first ever world champion.
